Frequently asked questions

Purchased Lifetime but it's locked / new iPhone?

Open any paywall screen and tap “Restore purchase.” Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, so they restore for free on any device signed in with that account.

How do I export my data?

Settings (gear icon on the main screen) → “Your data” → export everything or per tank as CSV. Free, always: your data is yours.

Reminders not arriving?

Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Tankbook to make sure notifications are allowed. Reminders are local notifications — no internet needed.

What's included in the free version?

1 tank, unlimited measurements, CSV export, 2 active reminders and 30 days of trends. Tankbook Lifetime ($9.99, one-time purchase, never a subscription) unlocks unlimited tanks, reminders and custom parameters, plus full trend history.

If I delete the app, do I lose my data?

Yes — everything lives on your phone, so deleting the app deletes its data. Export a CSV first if you want to keep your history.

Missing a parameter or feature?

You can create custom parameters per tank. And if something else is missing, write to us — the app grows with the fishkeeping community.
